Perri Mason

Perri is primarily an artist who’s chosen medium is watercolor. After taking a mosaic class with Dotti Stone at the Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA, she decided to try her hand at mosaics. Perri prefers to use tile, stained glass, beads and old jewelry in her mosaic work. Using animal skulls and mirrors and anything shiny are her favorite things to incorporate in her mosaic pieces!

Perri studied art at Radford University and earned a degree in studio art with a minor in education. She has a studio at the Bower Center where she also teaches classes, is a member if the exhibit committee and is on the center’s board of directors. She is a Signature Member of the Virginia Watercolor Society and has exhibited and won awards in several national, state, local and juried art shows. One of her mosaic pieces, “Cowabunga” recently won first place in the 3D category in the “Expressions” exhibit at the Piedmont Art Center in Martinsville, VA.
