Blue Ridge Mosaic Artists (BRMA), organized in June 2015, is a volunteer organization of mosaic enthusiasts of all experience levels. 

Meetings

Meetings are held bi-monthly at 6pm on the first Tuesday of the month: Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug/Oct/Dec at Bower Center for the Arts, 305 N Bridge St, Bedford VA (www.bowercenter.org)

Meetings include business updates on current/prospective community projects, exhibits, and member activities. Occasionally there are special programs on different topics related to mosaics, and meetings end
with a Show ‘n’ Tell when attendees can display finished mosaics, works in progress, or discuss a problem for which they are looking for a solution, or just bounce around an idea.

Membership

Membership is not limited to those in the immediate area. Mosaic artists who do not live close enough to regularly attend meetings may join and send entries for periodic BRMA exhibits and special projects and show their work on BRMA’s website and Facebook page. This expands the circle of mosaic artists and may encourage members who live in other areas to visit when traveling near others in the organization.
